Kidderbrook Montessori School welcomes and encourages interested families to visit our school. Please contact our office to attend an open house or schedule an individual tour.

Our school is co-educational, non-discriminating and non-sectarian. The school is open to all children who can function in a Montessori environment, but priority is given to siblings of current or former students, children of alumni and students with previous Montessori experience.

Criteria for acceptance are based on the child's age, readiness for the program and the parents' commitment to the Montessori philosophy.

Enrollment for children usually starts between age 2.9 and 3 years. Each prospective pupil is required to be interviewed before enrollment and will be admitted on a trial basis.

Experience has shown that it is in the best interest of the children and essential to the program that a three-year commitment is made at both the Primary and Elementary levels. This consistency of the same teachers within the same classroom setting is central to the process as it gives children the opportunity to learn from the older children, to solidify knowledge and to memorize by teaching to the young.
